已授权国内外发明专利20余项;
发明双向进气脉管制冷机;解明脉管制冷机的制冷机理,开展脉管制冷机的数值模拟,发明多气库脉管制冷机;提出惯性管脉管制冷机的数值模拟方法,从调相原理解明惯性管脉管制冷机的制冷机理;开发了4K脉管制冷机、热声机、GM制冷机等。
发表杂志论文和国际会议论文33篇,日本国内会议论文与文摘27篇,其中,所发表的双向进气的论文Shaowei Zhu, Peiyi Wu and Zhongqi Chen, Double inlet pulse tube refrigerator-an important improvement, Cryogenics, Vol. 30, 1990, pp514-520已被引用超过100次。该结构的脉管制冷机被认为是第三代脉管制冷机,已在NASA的许多空间项目中得到应用。
